Israeli DJ Skazi cancels his performance at Tomorrowland for "security reasons."

Israeli DJ Skazi, known for his support of his country's military, announced on social media that he has canceled his performance this Saturday at the renowned electronic music festival Tomorrowland due to "security reasons."
In a message posted on his Instagram account, the DJ stated that "due to safety reasons and our commitment to simply spreading the love of music, my performance at Tomorrowland has been canceled."
"My priority is to create a safe and positive atmosphere for everyone involved. I've always wanted to convey a message of unity, joy, and mutual respect. Thank you to everyone who has helped me. I wish much more love to everyone in the future, and I say see you soon," the Israeli DJ added.
Skazi's performance had sparked controversy, as last year during this same festival in the Flemish town of Boom he supported Israel by addressing the audience in Hebrew , some of whom were carrying Israeli flags.
According to the Belgian news agency, the festival organizers had asked the DJ this year to appear on stage without a microphone (and therefore without the possibility of speaking to the audience) and without Jewish state flags "due to different sensitivities," conditions that the musician reportedly accepted.
"Like many stakeholders, we have faced questions about his performance and appreciate the open and thoughtful dialogue that has followed. At Tomorrowland, we are fully committed to providing a safe and respectful environment for all. This has always been and will remain at the heart of our work. We continue to have great respect for Skazi's musical journey and look forward to hearing his music again on one of our stages in the future," said festival spokesperson Debby Wilmsen.
Last weekend, two Israeli soldiers who had attended Tomorrowland were arrested by police after being accused by two organizations of committing war crimes in the Gaza Strip.
According to the whistleblowers, the soldiers waved the flag of the Israeli Army's Givati Brigade during the festival.
Tomorrowland organizers, for their part, stated in a statement that combat unit flags are not permitted and are removed by security personnel as soon as they are raised.
The festival allows the display of flags of countries, regions, states, or communities (such as the LGBTQIA+ flag) as long as they do not incite hatred or discrimination and comply with safety regulations. The Israeli and Palestinian flags are also permitted.
